Brain Injury Specialist

AMHC is announcing the new Part-Time position as a Brain Injury Specialist at the CINR center in Caribou.
The Brain Injury Specialist provides services to clients who have sustained an acquired brain injury, either through accident or through illness and want to maximize their full functional potential for rehabilitation.
The Brain Injury Specialist plans, motivates, and uses their initiative and creativity in the provision of services to CINR clients.
Skills training is the essential function of the Brain Injury Specialist along with empathy, compassion, and the ability to engage the brain injury survivor to improve the quality of their life.
Through service coordination, resource identification, and independent living/life skills training, the Brain Injury Specialist will enhance the overall community integration of the brain injury survivor.
The chosen candidate will be expected to demonstrate the core values of AMHC by showing Integrity, Compassion, Excellence, Service, Collaboration, and Respect to co-workers, clients, and community members.
Qualifications:
A minimum of High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year experience in related field is requiredResponsibilities & Expectations:
Design and provide rehabilitative groups focusing on the Services needed by client's treatment plans Provide individual and group support to clients with Respect and Compassion to assist with individual needs Maintain the Integrity and Excellence of the program by using quality documentation and coordination of care.
Collaborate with the client's team and other providers to prove and meet the needs of each individual.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
