If so, please consider applying for this Job Placement Specialist position today!YOUR LIFE AS A JOB PLACEMENT SPECIALISTThis full-time vocational rehabilitation position at our human services nonprofit works during the day.
As a Job Placement Specialist, you engage participants in our services by using your warm demeanor to establish trust and rapport.
You create ongoing volunteer and employment opportunities for our participants by cultivating enduring relationships with employers and non-profits in the community.
Then you find the perfect Work Experience Program (WEP) assignments and employment opportunities for participants based on their vocational evaluation, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) work requirements, and needed accommodations.
Utilizing our Fedcap CARES program, you run reports and use the data to plan daily and weekly tasks.
Your goal is to help our participants obtain jobs working at least thirty hours per week that align with their skills and interests.
To ensure that nonprofit partners and employers are satisfied with their volunteers or new hires, you are sure to follow up and answer any questions.
As an expert in recruiting, you plan hiring events, retention events, and on-site employer panels.
You keep careful records and documentation as you track working participants in their jobs and validate retention benchmarks at thirty, ninety, and one hundred and eighty days.
